After having eyed the Shinki horse hide A-26 for quite sometime now I finally pulled the trigger. The black one was actually my second choice (bought at S & S) and I cannot put into words at how this cap looks and feels in the flesh. Being a huge fan of anything Lofgren Japan makes I don’t know why I’m surprised!
After following the instructions of giving it a quick “sloosh” in warm water and wearing until dry, my mind is completely blown of the fit. The way this thing molds to the skull is something that has to be experienced to believe! Certainly worth every single nickel paid. Thanks to Papa for the direction on fitting. Super happy and can already say that given availability, I’ll definitely buy a second. Such a killer, beautiful piece!
I pick up a lot of caps and know what is available at large and every PapaNui cap I have bought exceeds expectations. I’ve worn my new cap everyday since I received it and it’s more comfortable and seasoned with each wear which is unique to such well built products. Super happy. Thanks PN

Perfect for Honolulu perfect for Tokyo!
This has become my go to when it comes to fishing, camping, or running errands around town. The fabric is top notch and the classic silhouette is exactly what I was after. The craftsmanship really shows and the extra details like ventilation and yoked shoulders is perfect for spending longer days on the river. I reach for this piece now every time I head out and it continues to out-perform my expectations. I nabbed the blue but now I reckon i need the sea green too!
