Congo Camo Belgian Brushstroke A-3 remake. Papa x Troy O’Shea.
Recently acquired was a couple of pairs of beautiful Belgian Brushstroke windproof pants. Amazingly detailed the pants were produced in Germany by the Raka company and are dated 1956.
This camouflage pattern is quite simply one of the best!
Originally designated for use outside of Europe and specifically for the African colonies, this pattern was popular amongst Belgian Airborne, Commando and Marine units as well as seeing service with the Brown Berets during the Korean Conflict.
Often referred to as Congo Camo this fabric is absolutely perfect for repurposing into caps and so again I’ve joined up with Troy O’Shea Handmade to make a super limited edition run of A-3 caps. I’m incredibly excited about these as once rinsed in warm water and shaped to fit this cap will ‘set’ its style and become an awesome addition to your cap collection and one well suited to the fall winter weather to come.
