Papa Nui x Giggles collaboration of American Red Cross War Knits adds some fun to the bleakest of weather.

A crazy whimsical take on the classic WWII pattern these vintage style watch caps will hold you fast this season. A beautiful single fold cap that's draws its inspiration from the hand knitted 'Knit for Victory' program of the 1940's. Often in the rush to get as many knits out to the troops as possible, a knitter may have run short of yarn and so would finish out the project in whatever was available. The Papa Crazy watch cap captures this feeling and has created an authentic pattern that sits above the ears and is hand knitted in a luxurious New Zealand 8 ply Perendale Wool.

Each watch cap can feature an original 1940’s ‘ARC’ tag as well as a vintage 30’s donor tinny. Please request if you'd like this sewn on.

Available in a limited collection with a unique hue of earthy tones, this springy long staple yarn is a dense wool with a dry chalky handle and is perfect for keeping the cold at bay and the fit is superb!

(Wool is super stretchy and will be more comfortable with constant wear therefore sizing will fit most.)
