Thanks to my good friend @themajorstailor,  I’ve managed to get my hands on WWII gold. The rarest form of cap. A cap so unusual that most would never know of its issue. This is the 1940, pre war contract of the A-3, an experimental release that bridges the gap between the late 1930’s flat cap style of the A-2 and the ubiquitous WWII mechanics cap we all know and love.

The 1940 contract cap has been painstakingly recreated here in a limited edition piece that’s fully crafted in Japan in the best production facilities available. It’s unique lace front draws inspiration from American outdoor wear and is an early attempt at production proficiency for multiple sizing and custom fitting whilst it’s fabrication is a direct nod to the herringbone twill dominance that replaced indigo denim at around this same period.

This style was too rare and too good to hold off on releasing and so it’s being offered as an early 2023 delivery. Available in medium, large and x-large this is the last word In WWII caps and comes to you from the top kick in head wear, Papa Nui.

Best hat I ever had.

This hat hits every point of interests for me. Fit, quality and historical accuracy. Feels and fits great. Can be worn in any situation, either outside fishing, at the beach, hiking ,or dress it up with a cool look. Packs well in a bag for traveling and can easily pull out and still look great. I have hats from RRL and Kapital and this hat blows them away!! Worth every penny. I love it.

A Real Hat for Real Life

This is without question the best fitting cap I have ever purchased or worn.

Exceptionally well-made, this rugged and durable cap fits like a glove and is already the most frequently worn getting-stuff-done cap in my rotation. This is no "fashion" hat. This ain't "gorpcore." It's a real hat for real life.
