This new hat is an awesome collaboration between Papa Nui and Militaria 1911. Daichi Nagisa, is the world’s leading manufacturer of tiger stripe fabrics, an obsession of his that has reproduced not only thread count details but also period dye methods from the original 1962 pair of Tiger Stripe trousers he found many years ago.
Daichi and the Papa have taken a Saigon Mamasan operation to the feel of this hat and have pieced together three different Tiger Patterns and colours to create an incountry Daisy Mae style hat that’s a perfect complIment to your Jungle Jacket or Cong Pyjamas.
-100% cotton Tiger camouflage fabric supplied by Militaria 1911.
-Fully crafted in Japan by John Lofgren Bootmaker.
-Each piece of fabric used on these mixed hats are different and will fade at different rates to obtain an authentic period patina over time.

The papa was very helpful as always in recommending a size , and I can’t say enough about the jacket it’s self , what a fantastic bit of kit , wouldn’t expect anything less , everything from the size , fabric and zips is perfect, the frog skin camo is spot on as well
