The Hell Cat cap is 10 years in the making.

From its nascent form as the first cap I ever did with John Lofgren in Japan, the Corsair Cap was the beginning. Over a decade has been spent refining the silhouette, subtle changes made from a hundred small observations, and now I have the Hell Cat Cap. Built for the fight to hades and back and tough enough to withstand the netherworld of battle on the campaign trail, the Hell Cat is realized in WWII USMC Frogskin Camouflage in a new variant, the Brown beach side out pattern.

The Hell Cat is deep and balanced through crown so as not to create a pinched top. The visor is 8cm or 3 1/4” long, wide and square and takes its shape directly from period USN caps.
The Hell Cat Cap is a Zero killer! It’s a millinery version of its tough and rugged namesake the F6F, and is set to be the dominant cap covering the skies over the South Pacific.

100% cotton Herringbone Twill in brown side Frogskin camouflage.

-Japan Army Duck all cotton canvas visor liner for superior styling options. -Fully crafted in Japan by John Lofgren Bootmaker.

My new favorite cap

I wasn't always a fan in the past of USN caps but those Navy boys know something about design and fit! A satisfied customer and will be back soon.

On deck for months on end in the Pacific Sun and then dumped on some South Seas Atoll, one would hope those Navy boys knew what they were doing with caps.

Take Cover!

I need another cover about as much as I needed to put just one more hot round into that Zeke's naked gas tank.

But war circumstances being what they are, I like to gild the lily, won't leave anything to chance, and aim to do my bit. So I squirted that Zero again with another yard and put in a requisition for a beach camo Hellcat.

Whether you're a sack rat, hangar warrior or throttle jockey, there's one immutable principle for the general benefit of all ranks -- the Papa's got you covered.

Never a truer word said! The dynamics of aerial combat are greatly enhanced by the Papa's kit and the ratio of meatballs going down superior.
